Why you should not use a fan if it’s blade is broken!

So, I was too free today and realised that my fan was alittle dirty. Being the hardworking me, I decided to give my standing fan a wash by hosing it down with water. After washing, I hanged the parts of the fan out to dry. Didn’t really hang them properly, and the fan blades part dropped onto the floor and a small part of it broke. Hmm, I thought that it could still be used, so I decided to assemble everything back together and use it. I thought it was working at the start, except that it got noisier due to more vibrations. Therefore, I decided to let it be and continue using it. After awhile, I noticed that my fan would move further and further away, due to these vibrations. Being the genius that I am, or at least I thought I was, I put my bag to lessen the fans movements, so that it would stay put next to me. Everything was fine until… *boom!!!* I didn’t know what happened at first, just that I heard a loud explosion. I turned around, half thinking that the explosion came from another room, but this was what I saw…

So you see, now we know why you should not use a fan if one of it’s blades is broken! The explosion threw bits of the blades around my room, and I’m quite surprise I’m still alive to be typing this post here. The next time you see you should be thankful that I’m still able to spend time with you, and was not stabbed to death by flying blades of a fan. I will be thankful that I’m still able to be with you still, and not stabbed to death by flying blades of a fan. Jokes aside, my fan is resting in pieces, my aircon is leaking, life sucks for me. Go shopping for a new fan anyone?

Playing around with color accent

So, I wouldn’t say I’m the most proficient in using my camera, but I found one function of it which I really like! It’s the “color accent” function, which basically makes your photo black, white and another colour of your choice! So, here are some shorts of colour accented photos I took!

On a side note, it’s the recess week of NUS today! I asked my mini boss whether she wanted me to go in for work more days this week, but apparently the medium boss thinks there’s no need for it, so here I am slacking my time away at home. I actually have a few projects and stuffs to do, but I’m too lazy to even touch them! Maybe I will start on them later. Or maybe not :P

My First Day Of Photo Taking

Well, woke up on this bright and sunny day to experiment alittle with my camera. Here are some random shots I took around my house.

After that, my next chance to take photos and play around with my cameras was at dinner time when I went out with the group of friends to Serangoon Gardens for dinner and chilling out.

Well, I’m too lazy to type out comments for each picture so I’ll just throw everything in for you to see!
